Global Warming Facts

Let's Explore the Facts Discovered by the Experts

EXHIBIT 1:
THE CHANGE IN THE TEMPERATURE OF THE LOWER TROPOSPHERE FOR THE PERIOD 1979-2022

The annual temperature anomaly is calculated by calculating the average of the twelve monthly average temperature readings for the lower troposphere and calculating the variance of that calculation from the annual temperature anomaly from the base period. The base period is the average of the prior thirty year average. The data is gathered by satellites that polar circumnavigate the globe, using microwave sounding technology and spectroscopy, to measure the temperature of oxygen molecules in the relevant atmospheric layers. The data is then analyzed by scientists at the University of Alabama-Huntsville to prepare the graph. This graph includes a running, centered 13 month moving average, to provide the viewer with a perspective on the 13 month average readings compared to the yearly readings over time. It should be noted that for the period 1979-1998, there were several cooling periods. From 1998-2009, an overall cooling trend can be observed. Finally, from 2020 to present, there has been a cooling trend as well.  These cooling periods occurred during a period in which the concentration of CO2 in the Earth’s lower troposphere increased from about 335 ppm to 420 ppm. This fact falsifies the man-made global warming hypothesis, rendering it null and void. In the field of scientific investigation, if the data invalidates a hypothesis, the hypothesis is falsified.

EXHIBIT 2:
“THE CHANGE IN AVERAGE OCEAN SURFACE TEMPERATURE

of the world’s oceans falsifies the man-made global warming hypothesis” The exhibit to the right depicts the decadal changes in the average temperature of the surface of the world’s oceans as measured by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOOA) for the period 2005-2012. The data depicts a change in average temperature of 0.03 C/decade or 0.003 C/yr. This is insignificant and well within the measurement margin of error. During this period, the concentration of CO2 in the lower troposphere increased from 370 ppm to 395 ppm. This fact falsifies the man-made global warming hypothesis.

EXHIBIT 3:
“THE CHANGE IN THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE

of the first 2,000 meters of the world’s oceans falsifies the man-made global warming hypothesis” The exhibit left depicts the decadal changes in the average temperature of the world’s oceans as measured by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for the period 2005-2012. The measurements are taken from the surface to a depth of 2,000 meters (6561 ft.). The data depicts a change in temperature of 0.02 C/decade or 0.002 C/yr. This is insignificant and well within the measurement margin of error. During this period, the concentration of CO2 in the lower troposphere increased from 370 ppm to 395 ppm. This fact falsifies the man-made global warming hypothesis.

EXHIBIT 4:
“YEARLY CHANGES TO THE HADLEY CENTRE/CLIMATIC RESEARCH UNIT TEMPERATURE (HADCRUT) DATABASE FOR THE PERIOD 1850-2010”

“Exhibit 4 shows a more recent example of the HadCRUT (Hadley Centre/ Climate Research Unit Temperature) re-adjustment of Global Average Surface Temperature data. This adjustment was made for historical data reported for the period 1850-2010. The graph clearly depicts adjustments to the temperature readings in the 1930′ s-1950′ s which eliminates the warming trend first measured in the unadjusted data. In addition, the cooling trend depicted in the unadjusted data for the period 1950-1980, was eliminated as shown in Figure 4, by the addition of an artificial warming trend created through data adjustments of 0.10-0.17 ° C. Perhaps most striking, is the added warming from 1950-1970 to offset what was originally measured to be a cooling period. Also, warming was added for the period 1900-1930 to remove prior reported cyclicality. Finally, from 1980 onward, warming has been added to reinforce the appearance of a sharp increase in global warming. The obvious conclusion is that both NASA/ GISS and HadCRUT have manipulated daily temperature readings and adjusted historical temperature data to remove cycles in the temperature data, eliminate cooling periods and create the appearance of global warming.”

EXHIBIT 5:
“ANTARCTIC MINIMUM SEA ICE EXTENT BY YEAR FOR THE PERIOD 1979-2020”

The graph above depicts the minimum sea ice area for Antarctica for the period 1979-2020 in square kilometers. It should be noted that the lowest yearly sea ice extent stayed relatively constant at around 3 million square kilometers for the period 1980-2010. In 2011 through 2017, there was an increase in the minimum sea ice extent, followed by a return to the 1980-2010 average. The conclusion: from 1980 to 2020, CO2 levels in the troposphere rose from 338 ppm to 414 ppm, while Antarctic sea ice extent remained stable. The levels of CO2 in the troposphere has no effect on Antarctic sea ice, falsifying the man-made global warming hypothesis.
